A Maple Leaf neighbor spotted a bald eagle one of the trees on the grounds of Historic Waldo Hospital and snapped a picture. It turns out there were two eagles there. It's breeding season for Eagles. Click on either picture and you'll be taken to a page with larger pictures of the eagles.

If you happen to have other pictures or have noted time and dates of other visits by Bald Eagles or other special birds or animal to Waldo Forest, please let us know by sending an e-mail.

This picture is a medium shot with the two Bald Eagles.
